The Putt Bennett Fishing Festival held on the second weekend in January every year at North Beach Recreation & Bowling Club attracts fishing enthusiasts from far and wide. The competition comprises of individual and family prizes plus trophies for beach, estuary and deep sea classes, catch or catch & release.
